Thanks to our partnership with
Appalachia Service Project,
this group of experienced volunteers
got two houses under roof
(with shingles, even!)
in less than one week!

And what about those Mosey Mondays, Bill?  This group had not just one, but two exterior walls up before lunch their first day!  It was obvious from day one that they came with an eagerness to build homes in Perry County matched only by the sincerity of heart with which they did so.

We were fortunate enough to take some members of Trinity UMC to the homes they constructed last year, located in Big Branch. They also got to meet one of the homeowners they have served there. 

Special thanks go to Bill Buhi for coordinating this group's second such trip to Perry County, and to all of the hard-working volunteers that made it possible to dry-in two homes in one week.  You have truly been an inspiration to all of us at the Housing Development Alliance.  We look forward to hosting you again next year!
